Call for Works for progressive rock band

Hey, Darren Nelsen here. I'm putting together a progressive rock band and I'm seeking works for the following instrumentation: electric guitar, electric bass, keyboards, drums.

For a good model of what I'm going for, check out Electric Kompany.

Please submit pdf scores and midi files to darren [at] curiomusic [dot] com.

Ooh! Ooh! Is there a deadline? I can't get to it right away. I was going to write something for EK last year, but when I said that I wouldn't be able to for a few months, they started ignoring me...

Also - what kind of keyboard will be used, what kind of pedals are available, what size drum kit, etc.?

No deadline. It's an open invite.

Guitar effects:
- 2 channel (clean and overdrive) 50/100 watt tube amp w/reverb (Carvin Legacy VL100 Steve Vai model)
- PODxt Live available with chorus, phase, flange, delay (analog, digital, tape, tube), reverb, distortion, pitch bend (whammy), wah, volume pedal, amp simulation; can be run stereo but I prefer mono

- Don't know yet. I'll see once I hire the keyboardist. Probably best to keep it general.

- About a 5 piece kit with standard cymbal assortment. This will fluctuate based on who's playing and what they have available. Again, probably best to keep things general.

I'll have more specifics once I have the actual group together. Doing auditions now.

How much score detail is needed? Does there need to be room for performer interpretation, or do I just do "whatever"?

Enough to 'get it', I guess. I'd say do whatever and then I'll see how we can work with it.

I will also accept works for trio: guitar, bass, and drums
